Getting a Library Card

Any resident of incorporated Palos Heights over the age of 5 is eligible for a library card. Residents living in unincorporated Palos Heights may apply for a Palos Heights library card for a yearly fee of $288 (effective May 2016). Your library card may be used at 75 libraries in the Chicago area and may be used to download free ebooks, audiobooks, music, magazines and to access the library's numerous online resources.

To obtain a library card:

Bring in a valid driver's license or state ID with your current Palos Heights address on it.

To renew your library card, bring in valid ID with your current Palos Heights address.
