Palos Heights’ residents may register for programs upon receipt of the PageTurner in your mail delivery. Others may register starting the first week of each month.

Programs marked with an " R" require registration in order to attend. Programs marked with a " D 2400px" are drop-in programs, so no registration is needed.

Hanukkah Story Time

Monday December 3, 10am, Ages 3-5
To celebrate the first night of Hanukkah, we will have a story time dedicated to the Jewish Festival of Lights. We will read Hanukkah stories, sing songs, and play with dreidels.

Holiday Baby: 12 Days of Early Literacy Kick-off

Wednesday, December 12, 10 am, birth-23 months
Celebrate the holidays at the library with your baby by attending this story time. Then, keep the fun going all the way to Christmas Eve with our “12 Days of Early Literacy” challenge. Participants will get a card with ideas of how to celebrate the season with their little one by doing holiday-themed early literacy activities every day. How many days can you do!

Sign up for winter reading at the Youth and Teen Services Department. Choose anything you like—fiction, nonfiction, audiobooks, graphic novels, magazines, newspapers—because everything counts! Complete your entire reading log and return it to the Youth Services Desk before 5:00pm on January 26 to pick out a free book.
