The Museum Adventure Pass program has made some changes! Did you know that there are two new additions to the program? Pleasant Home, located in Oak Park, is a landmark Prairie Style house museum, designed in 1897 by George W. Maher. The home is one of the earliest and most distinguished examples of Prairie School Architecture. Pleasant Home is the only Maher building open to the public as a museum. Passes for the Illinois Railway Museum are also now available. Features include many pieces of historic railway equipment on display and regular operation on their demonstration railroad. Popular ongoing attractions include: Brookfield Zoo, Legoland Discovery Center, The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn, and Cantigny Park, to name a few. Check out www.museumadventure.org for information on all the participating organizations. Stop by the Library with your Palos Heights Public Library card to check out your admission or discount pass.
